Helping Google intentionally connect with the disabled community through celebrating its members’ stories.
The Ask: To reach members of the disabled community in a meaningful and intentional way, while showcasing Google’s role in creating a more accessible world for all bodies.
Strategy: Accessibility for a More Innovative World relied heavily on learning and interacting with accessibility activists, and members of the disabled community to accurately inform campaigns messaging, and the event’s programming. In partnering with and featuring creators from both of these communities on our panel, we were able to give a first-hand narrative of what accessibility looks and feels like.
Key Contributions: Discovery, and one-on-one sessions with members of the disabled community, competitive analyses, messaging framework, and lastly, outreach to partners to drive awareness of the event, and maximize overall impact.
